Vitafoods, CPhI, HIE/FIE...a look back at the travels to trade fairs in the past months and a summary of expected trips until the end of 2023.

Traditionally and almost regularly (with the exception of 2020, when travel and attendance at major events was paralyzed due to the coronavirus pandemic) we attend a trio of trade shows held in Europe: Vitafoods Geneve, CPhI Europe, Health Ingredients/Food Ingredients Europe.

In the past we have also participated with less regularity in the CPhI trade fair held in China, which we intend to add to the list of regular exhibitions in the coming years, and in recent years we have also taken a liking to the DCAT week event in New York, which is not a trade fair as such, but like other trade fairs provides an opportunity to meet our clients.



We kicked off 2023 in March by attending the DCAT week event in New York. Our experience with DCAT week is still fresh, it was only our second time participating, but we still rate DCAT very positively and welcome the unconventional way of organising meetings with clients. Through DCAT, participants have the opportunity to book a space (hotel suite, hotel lobby, restaurant...) where they can conduct meetings with customers and suppliers. In addition, DCAT members can attend various networking events, access member lounges and take advantage of other opportunities designed to promote interaction among industry colleagues. A traditional highlight of DCAT Week is the dinner held in the Grand Ballroom at the Hilton-Midtown.



In May, we did not miss our participation in the Vitafoods trade fair, regularly held in Geneva, where manufacturers and distributors of ingredients, raw materials or finished nutraceutical products, as well as those interested in these nutraceutical products and trends, gather.



In October, for us the most anticipated and beneficial CPhI trade fair ever awaits us, this year held in Barcelona. We always book in advance the most lucrative place possible to locate our stand, where we host our existing and potential clients. Our schedule of appointments is already filling up and based on the experience of previous years, we are very much looking forward to our participation again this year.

We will conclude our business trips in 2023 with our participation at the Food Ingredients & Health Ingredients trade fair in Germany in November.
